- Guidebooks: For this kind of a trip I find “The Rough Guide to Kenya”(2013) to be better than Lonely Planet’s “Kenya” (2012). It also may be because of the fact that the RG has 600 pages while LP has only 400. Yet both books are much better than the latest “Frommer’s Kenya and Tanzania” which suggests to not bother at all with renting a car when going to Amboseli animal park and to fly instead (and so it doesn’t have info about going by car at all)
- Kenyalogy – while maybe a bit outdated, it is still a brilliant resource about Kenya and its national reserves.
